Description;
In 1981, the most north-western point of Sicily was declared the first protected natural area in Sicily. Today it is an unspoilt coastal landscape, far from all the hustle and bustle and noise. Between San Vito Lo Capo and Scopello, marked trails with magnificent views run along high mountains and an almost Caribbean blue sea to fairytale bays with beaches. The Sentiero Principale runs, slightly undulating, just above the coastline and is 7 km long. The bays are easily accessible via side paths. We walked the path from the south side and successively visited Cala Capreria, Cala della Disa and Cala Beretta, which is about 3.8 km from both the north and south entrances. We had to drive a long way from Cefalu, but there is plenty to see and do to enjoy the peace and natural beauty for a whole day.
This page is gorgeous Ellen so I can only imagine how beautiful it is in person! I love the wooden elements you've used to keep the colors neutral. I also love the green rectangles to complement the greenery in your photos. The big split photo along the top is my favorite! Thank you for joining our MOC multiple photos challenge!
I love the series of photos, what a gorgeous place to visit. Love the big photo split across 3 photo spots at the top. And love the journaling - great storytelling with photos and text. Love the clean lines to your design and the soft colours you've used.
