Then was the day you got your braces on and now is the day you
got them off. You got them on just before Thanksgiving and
were worried you wouldn’t be able to eat Thanksgiving dinner.
I told you I would make you a turkey shake and you were not
impressed. But there was enough time between that it wasn’t
an issue. They estimated 20 months of braces at that time.
Boy were they wrong. There was just no way to guess all the
issues you had going on in there. From an extra tooth to
the tooth coming up on the wrong side of the jaw bone.
It was a mess. And you didn’t help matters by not wearing
your rubber bands. I think they got tired of fighting you
about it and just took them off. You got them off just
before Christmas and it was a happy day after all we
went through in those 3 years.
