Day 30 - Connecting via Discord

Love this page and the fun connections they have online with Discord. I love the fun backgrounds here and the title work.

Lol, I think a lot of people with teenagers recognise this. I do. Isn't it great how they can stay in touch, even with friends that live far away.

This is such a fun page Karen!!!! I am glad you suggested the little change with my challange so I could see this awesome connection your boys have with their cousins!!! I use discord too when I game and its a great platform for making connections! I really love the kit you used (i'm gonna have to check it out) and how you used their avatars on your layout! I have heard of this Discord, but never been a part. Sounds like a great way to stay connected for sure! Are those little round pics their profile pics from the server? If so, clever!

@scrapchyck My IRL scrapbooker friend (that I get together with quite often for scrapbooking weekends) and I used Discord to scrapbook together during the covid shut downs. It's pretty cool. And yep, the little round pics are their profile pics. I tried to get them to send me selfies with their gaming headphones on, but they weren't having it.

@Karen Of course they weren't! We can capture all the things these days and they won't let us!

yep, discord parent too - when i slip up and say something about phoning or text msg'ing to my kids, i get the 'd'uh mum, our generation don't do that' response but i feel like they're on discord all the time - it did make a huge difference to DD's social life during lockdowns though so i guess she just found her tribe and kept going with it and now DS's gamer friends and friends in general use it; congrats to u for keeping up with the new age of technology, b/c i haven't the first clue about it other than if i hear my daughter talking or laughing loudly (especially around 2am), i figure discord is involved
