oooooooooh that is a gorgeous pattern, and fun to do one at a time... I always forget about doing squares! Crocheting and winter are the perfect companion!

@AmandaJ , wow, that square is gorgeous! It is so delicate! I have been trying to make a beanie for days!!!! I am in my 5th version (keep unraveling and starting again).

@Dalis I understand that! I had some yarn my son gave me for Christmas. I started and stopped at least five different patterns! I finally decided on a cowl. Easy. Simple. Done .

@AnneofAlamo Sometimes squares are very happy making! I love all of Polly Plum's patterns. Beautifully written and illustrated. This was the hardest one I've ever done:

@AmandaJ there is no way I would call that a granny square, they are so modern looking and amazing!!!!!!! wow! I think my yarn is stretching while I make my hat so they end up HUGE.

@Dalis LOL! Maybe try a smaller hook . They are really modern, aren't they! There is some amazing stuff out there these days.
