The first time I came to Valencia I immediately fell in love…. This beautiful city really has everything you could wish for. A rich culture with beautiful, old and well-maintained churches, palaces and gates, but also beautiful squares, parks and car-free streets. The center exudes a nice atmosphere of geniality and the locals are super friendly. The city gives you a wonderfully relaxed feeling. It's almost impossible to 'not fall in love' with this city. Valencia has a lot to offer: in addition to a very large and special park, a beautiful old town, hip neighborhoods with street art, unique shops and architecture, you will also find a wide beach and you can enjoy delicious food. Valencia really is a Foodie Hotspot. For that reason alone you should stay in Valencia for at least 5 days so that you can fully enjoy all those tasty and fun eateries that Valencia has. And let's not forget the climate, because in Valencia the sun shines almost all year round! I have now visited Valencia three times since 2016, always in a different time of year, always with a different travel companion. And I still have a whole wish list of cafes, restaurants and sights, so I'm already planning my next trip. I have put Valencia in my heart forever.
