I really love the look & feel of felted wool. In my former life, I always wanted a felted Austrian looking jacket, but they were out of sight. (Oh, maybe that was boiled wool...) But regardless, I do have a felted thimble. I bought it on etsy. It is a nun. LOL! There is a bit of crochet work around the base to get a flared rim, but it definitely is felted.
