DAY 21_HUNT FOR HAPPINESS_Polly Paradise (londoncuppa)
JOURNALING: What makes me happy? Scrapping makes me happy. Paper. Glue. Scissors. Terabytes of glorious digital files just waiting to be pushed & pulled in countless directions; limited only by my imagination. It’s pure bliss!
I think about scrapping ALL.THE.TIME. Supplies. Situations for pictures. My personal creative goals. This hobby has made me stop & appreciate the here and now with my family & the little things in the world around me. I know I would have let a lot of details slip through my fingers if I wasn’t always making a conscious effort to memorialize them in my scrapbooks.
I’m not on any creative teams (I’ve never applied). My heart has only one home-The Pad. Last July, I was blessed with a Guest Polly Spot. It was an amazing month, & I came away from it with a new-found appreciation for our Pollys & leadership team because THEY WORK THEIR TAILS OFF!
So much goes on to make The Pad fun, safe, welcoming, & also free of trolls/drama, & unpleasantness. I have so much affection for them all, & I will forever be grateful that I was counted among them for a month.
@heathert LOL... no worries at all. A lot has been going on with our dear Cynthia, so she was probably on your mind. The names of everyone at The Pad will be second nature before you know it.
I love this page for so many reasons, Margaret. Love your play with paper, color and pattern. And I love love your journaling...it's emotive and you are speaking my language. And, of course, it warms my heart that you feel this way about this place I love with all my heart.
@scarletsierra Thanks so very, very much, Sara! I really appreciate it and you taking the time to leave feedback on my layout. This one means a lot to me.
