Oh I am with you on wishing I'd asked more about the family stories. All my grandparents and my parents had died before I was 40 and I have so so many questions. Genealogy helps but not on my Lithuanian side. Great journaling.
Me too! I wish I had more written down! I hope you'll still write down from your last grandparent, typically the older memories are more accurate than recent ones. Hugs to you! Don't feel guilty as you're doing your best!
