Journaling (233 words): Kim and I first became friends in the spring of 2014 when I mentioned that I was going to do a couch to 5k program and then run the Lory’s place 5k in May. She just announced that she was going to join me. Lol! That is such a Kim thing to do. Ha ha! I would never have invited someone else to watch me struggle with running and I would have totally quit before finishing the whole C25k! I would always rather do things on my own, but her joining me was the best thing ever. Because we were both doing it, we kept each other going and didn’t quit, like I would have if I had been running on my own. Since then we’ve decided that we hate running and then we started walking three times a week. That was great exercise, but even better, we became great friends, and our walks were also better than therapy. Since then we have even joined gym. We keep each other going and getting our exercise, but I think we both look forward to catching up and talking just as much as we do getting our exercise. I love that we know each other so well and I can completely trust Kim with anything that I need to talk about. She’s been such an amazing friend and I treasure our friendship so much!
