I hear you. After being around DH's family since 1972, I would think that I would be accepted. I often call myself the out-law rather than the in-law. Blood is definitely thicker than water. Hang in there, you are not alone.
@mcurtt Thank you. I appreciate your kind words. I am also glad that I am not alone in this weird family thing. My mother-in-law never told me that she loved me until she had dementia. That's how I knew something was wrong with her.
I totally feel you! My family, like my growing up family, took family photos 2 weeks after I left the state. Why? Because my brother wouldn't be there until then. So, I'm not in them, but he is. Nice, family, Nice.
@bestcee That's brutal. You should grab that photo and Photoshop yourself in, I should do that same thing with my photo. We'll teach them to muck with us. Yeah, I tell myself that it wasn't personal but it feels that way. My husband says that I hold a grudge but he doesn't understand it.
Well you know how much I love this and love that you made a shareable version as well! I'm sorry family can hurt us like no one else can and that words have such power! I do have to say though that I'm blown away at how you mix so many kits, bits, etc. from a number of designers. That kind of talent boggles my mind! I love this!
@mocamom Thank you so much. You have truly made my day! I have a system of organizing my kits now that makes sense. All folders are filed by artist name first, title of the kit. I can search for what I want quite easily. It's all stored in an external hard drive. I
