Wonderful page of an awesome place. (I had no idea of the beauty there until we saw it in person. Seems like I was gasping every few minutes.) I love your info-numbers! ...esp. 2 overheated tourists! Seems like Death Valley would be hard to take without AC.
@SharLamb When we were there in sept 2015 we eat lunch (like picknick) in the car with the airco on.... i'll never forget how hot it was outside the car. Terrific place!
@[email protected]: We ate lunch at a restaurant, and when we came back outside, the car registered over 130*!!!!!!! It cooled down to the low 100s in just a few minutes after turning the car/AC on, but it made me happy we did not have a pet along with us on that trip!
