I am so sorry for your loss. Great storytelling with the story of the memories of your old home and then the difficulties of buying the new one. Love the border of houses over the strips of paper. And love the stitched down photo. Thanks for playing along with my challenge!
ohhh how marvelous is to see scrapbooking at it's best, this is the kind of page that made me fall in love with scrapping.... the gorgeous composition, beautiful embellishment, the marvelous, heart felt journaling.... my family (big one) are the kind who took tons of photos even when social media (or computers all together) weren't even a thought... but then my mum & dad, for example, didn't know who people were in some photos, or the exact event this or that photo was from.... we always took a lot of photos with my husband too, my daughter was born in 1996, I started scrapping in 2007 (I think? LOL) and the instant love with scrapbooking was born... I can make a record of some super intense feelings, bring them back to memory for us, and also leaving a record of our life for generations to come.... and all is perfectly capture here. Amazing page !!!!!!
