journaling: Way back in the 90s when X-files was on the first time was when I first met the Hartfields. In about 1998 or 1999, They were watching the X-files with the Eathertons and invited me to start watching it with them once a week. I don’t even remember if I was already watching the show or if they got me into it, but I started watching with them and we watched until the series ended... or so we thought. Even when both Scully and Mulder were off the show, we kept watching, mostly because it was a tradition to watch together. Then when we found out that there would be a season 10, we of course had to watch with the Hartfields again. By then, the Eathertons had long since moved to Texas, so we just had to text with them about the show. I couldn’t believe the cliff hanger that they left at the end of season 10, especially since they weren’t sure they would even be renewed for season 11. Thankfully they were and season 11 started on January 3, 2018. We of course watched with the Hartfields again, but I wasn’t very thrilled with the first episode. They explained away the finale from season 10 as a dream or a premonition. Sigh. SO soap opera-ish. I’ll keep watching until the end though.
Great storytelling, Karen. I wondered about the new X-Files, wasn't sure whether to give it a try. It's nice having Scully and Mulder back on the show. I love the way you've journaled this with the text coming down from the spaceship. Great collage of elements to go along with your subject. Thanks for playing along with my challenge!
Loooooove your page. I'm a huuuuuge X-files fan. I have all the old episodes on DVD just as season 10 as well. Season 11 isn't on television in Belgium yet, but I can't wait to see it! Anyways.... Love your page! You scrapped the story beautifully.
