Description
I am just running around like a crazy person. When I'm home, I'm cleaning like crazy so when I drive Miss Daisy, (my mom) I'm not al stressed thinking about what needs doing. I gave in and hired a cleaning service, once a month for the bathrooms and the kitchen. It's a giant help. I had 8 days where I was gone all day taking care of my mom. It's almost a full time job.
I bought the bird at the thrift store for $1.50.

Photo from the Hair Witch on Instagram. The only reason I want to cut all my off is that when I had Covid in January, I lost at least half of my hair. Confirmed by my dermatologist. It's see through. I had hair past my shoulders and my stylist cut it to neck length. It's SO thin and see through. I'm not allowed to put a tight pony tail in, no heat, no curling iron, no straightener, I mean, yeah, no heat means no heat. ARGHHH. I hate my hair short but I hate this stringy mess more.
My lovely mom is on the left.
I totally love your page. Your journaling makes me laugh and your mix of shapes and photos is great. Your dining room looks lovely. Like me you enjoy a wall full of goodies. My husband says if he has to put one more nail in the wall to hang things that the whole is going to collapse. LOL

I love this so much!! Great journaling! You have a lovely dining room! I can understand your frustration with you hair and I bet you would rock that short cut! I hope you find some time for rest soon!

This is such a fun page and such a great way to capture the reality of life. I love it. Sorry to read about your hair though, that is not good :-( Hope it grows back thicker and soon!

@flowersgal Your husband hangs art for you? He's the best. I'll have to make a page of my living room wall art, my on in law hung it up for me. I use a lot of command strips to hang things up. They are easy to remove as long as you do it the proper way. The wrong way and you take the paint off the walls.
@Cherylndesigns Thank you so much. Hectic life, indeed.
@Angela Toucan Thank you very much. I was please to figure out how to curve the text.
@IntenseMagic Thank you. The table and chairs were my beloved mother in laws. WE have never bought expensive furniture. It's Hitchcock, I need to take good care of it. We are Ikea people.
@LynnG Thank you. It's going to take years to grow out, sigh. I'm not vain but a woman's hair is pretty important. I need to glad it wasn't worse.
@ajm Thank you!
Just a follow up, my mom's doctors had advised me to take her for a memory evaluation with a Neuropsychologist. Now, I had to play dumb and say I have no clue why we are going. The doctor told her it's just because she's had so much stress in her life, losing her second husband, knee replacement, broken ankle the same day that she got out of the hospital from her knee replacement, breast cancer and mastectomy, and then covid crisis. Her neuropathy from her cancer treatment is very bad, along with heart disease. I had her donate her car, and the guy who picked it up was supposed to remove the plates. They sold the car and now she's getting EZ pass bills. I reported the plates as lost or stolen with the local police department and complained politely to the veteran's group, she donated her car to. So, tip of the iceberg. I have been mostly her only caregiver. She lives about 30 minutes away and traffic is usually horrid. Val.
