and this is a (hope relatively good) translation of the lyrics-
The song was written by Maria Elena Walsh, a singer/songwriter/author (1930-2011) who was an icon- she wrote many kids' songs, I grew up with some, and always sung one of those to Sarita when she went to sleep, for 12 years....was called Manuelita. But this one I sung a lot in my shows when we had the band, and applies so much right now.... it had to show up in my art journal....

I was killed so many times.
