This page was definitely a bit cathartic. A mall closing is probably not that big of deal in the grand scheme of things, but this has been a staple of our community for over 70 years. It was the first mall in America. Last week, I went through the space (there are still a few stores/restaurants open) and took some pictures. Naked mannequins, an empty Macy's storefront, vacant tables Nordstrom's eBar cafe, a huge sign of the reimagination, a closing Gap and construction equipment that has already moved in. Wow, Sheri, this is impressive. Your blending is amazing and great journaling. Yes, the closing will leave a gap (we are seeing that happen more and more) but so glad you scrapped this on the positive note of re-invent.
