- For the May Random Challenge, the journaling is about one of the locks in the Dutch Twentekanaal. The lock helps the ships to cover the difference in waterlevel between the channel and the river IJssel. The river level on the westside of the lock approx. 6 meters lower than the waterlevel in the channel.
