Here Jonathan is pointing out the area which we hiked first, and the big cliff
where you stood. I now know that - while I was behind the camera, and mostly with Kaycie and Travis - Jon had unparalleled anxiety on that first hike, because of the kids by the drop offs. Somehow I didn’t realize how high they were until seeing these pictures afterwards and after reminiscing about it with Jon! Poor guy, full of legitimate worry while I was putzing along, all relaxed! Our 2nd hike was much less risky, had some Bone Bed Quarries to look at, and the kids did lots of climbing. The skies were sm oky, saving us from the intense heat that this area is known for. I don’t think we otherwise would have lasted as long out there, seeing what we all we saw.
