Thanks for the cool tutorials, *gina* and Kayla! Thanks, Kayla, for figuring out why I couldn't make "merge down" work! This is a kind of funky picture of my hubby, sister Rebecca and me at a beach bar with a cute beach scene behind us.
Credits: I actually merged two papers together - APennington_snap_P&B_alt(12) and SBasic_Beachscape_s10; SBasic_Beachscape_extras07, extras05, banner02.
Fun use of the photo. This is wonderful with the blues and touches of orange. So glad you were able to figure out the technique. I haven't tried it yet so I'm hoping I won't get stuck when I do.
@flowersgal Thanks so much, Patsy. I'm so glad Kayla finally figured what my problem was! I just kept trying things and nothing worked. You shouldn't have any problems with it. It's really a fun technique.
I love your fantastic page and I am so proud you didn't give up. The patterned paper really works gorgeous with the photo and the colored brushed edge fits perfect.
@*gina* Ohhhhhhh, thanks so much, Gina!! I'm so happy that I didn't give up, too. You and Kayla's tutorials were perfect and I'm going to do a page in total PSCC next! I'm determined to learn PS! Thanks so much for all of your help and encouragement!!
I love what you did here! And the background in the photo works so well. In a typical photo shot, it would probably look pretty busy, but with this technique, it looks so artsy! The border & elements add that extra zip to your page!
@mcurtt It was totally busy! I never quite knew how to use it because the background was so busy. It worked nicely here. Never get rid of a picture, right?
