In July and August of 2010, and we were gifted with a trip to Europe with our entire family. It was one of those times when you really know just how blessed you are. To be able to visit places that you dreamed of, but never thought you would ever see or touch. We took two Seven day cruises through Italy, Sicily,Turkey, Greece, the Strait of Messina, then back to Roma. Then the trip headed up from Roma to Genoa, then to Proveñce France, Spain, and then Palma de Mallorca, before we finally ended up where we started: Roma Italy. What an amazing journey - one that I thought I’d never make! Some of the highlights of the trip for me was finally seeing so many of the ancient landmarks that I was studying in school. One of the most exciting things was walking up to the Acropolis and actually touching the stones of the structure. Another dream of mine came true in Turkey when we went to Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary. We also saw many of the sites in the city of Rome like the Pantheon, Colosseum, The Forum. In France, I fell in love with a little City named Bormes les Mimosas, but I couldn’t believe while in France I didn’t even have a bite of real authentic French Bread. Oh the humanity!
