Do you like the Tamron lens? I've always been curious about it, but hadn't quite decided if I was willing to try the off brand lens!

@bestcee I love it, and would definitely buy Tamron again. You can not get as close as a "real " macro lens ,or as far as a "real" telephoto , ( this one is 70/300 ) but I took the advice of someone who takes amazing photos and left it on the camera for a month or two, no changing back to the kit lens, even for " snapshots " Had many many fails, but I got used to how it worked ,and I love it. mind you still also wishing for a Nikon Macro lens ...sigh....

@Nemla that's the problem isn't it?!? Cameras are awesome, but you always want another lens!

gorgeous page Vivi.. love the camera and the new lens.. fantastic I love seeing all the photos you have been taking with them. I love your wish list and hope you get your macro lens soon. We have always been a Nikon family... I had my Dad's first Nikon 35mm and then his other one.. the one with the really large lens was stolen after he passed before I could get it home so all I have of that one is the actual base with no lens, but I went the Canon way for my DSLR .. beautifully scrapped page Vivi, and I loved reading your journaling... I look forward to seeing more of your photos Hugs!
