@Angela Toucan Thanks, Angela! I really did! It took awhile, but I'm really happy with the way the playing card came out. I used to "ink" the edges of everything when I was a paper scrapper. I love this technique!
@Cherylndesigns it is clear that you have steady hands. Your inking is so consistent that it's hard to believe that you haven't had a lot of practice. It is certainly a useful aging technique.
@flowersgal Thanks so much, Patsy! This was my first time doing this and I'm in love with it! It did take me a long time to do that card and I put quite a few layers on it until I got it where I wanted it. Thanks for making me feel like my efforts were worth it!
@mcurtt Thanks, Marilyn! I just kept trying to think like I was inking the edges with my sponge that was dipped in Distress Ink. I started (with the card) pretty light, then kept adding a little bit darker and repeated that process til I had the color I wanted. I'm so excited to have learned how to do this.
