Jan- this is a gorgeous photo of the Japanese Cherry Blossoms. I always see them on the TV but would never go to see them in DC in person as there are just too many visitors there then! We have a place here near the oceanfront that has a park with a lot of cherry blossoms. That is as close as I get I love your paper strips and your sweet cluster of elements.
@cfile Thanks, Christa! If you ever are in the area and don't want to tackle the Tidal Basin crowds, there is a neighborhood in Maryland just on the DC line called Kenwood. The entire neighborhood is filled with the trees, and you get to drive among them. The best part is all the kids are out selling cookies and lemonade to the visitors.
fabulous and just delightful - i can't help but look at these blossoms and feel happy (there's a few trees down the road but DH refuses to plant one on the grounds that they are just an extra large stick probably 90% off the year here) so i just get my happy from the gallery and pics like this! thanks for sharing your blossoms with us!
