Journal says: We celebrated Chip's 48th birthday a day early on family supper night with the kids. He requested his usual checkerboard cake. I surprised him with trick candles that nearly tricked me!

What a great page! Love the boldly patterned paper paired with the soft blue background. I really like how the photos catch the eye and then it moves towards the journaling and the "A Good Day" word snippet. Such a fun birthday page! Thanks for playing along with my challenge!
