This photo was taken in 2010 at the San Jose Mission in San Antonio, Tx. From a distance, I thought what a powerful Archangel, perhaps Saint Michael. As I got closer, I realized the Archangel was stabbing what appeared to be an infant. Upon closer look, the infant is bearded and with horns.

For me, this statue represents overcoming the fall from grace. The devil masquerading as the baby Jesus is stamped out by Saint Michael.
