page made using PSE15 and this wonderful watercolor sketch tutorial by our lovely Farrah and it can be found here in the learning pad thread: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/photo-technique-watercolor.30509/

----------------------------------------
I was asked by @Carol K Carol about the Seven Styles Mixed Media sketch action that I have been using on my pages (along with other sketchy paint pages) .. unfortunately the actions are not made for PSE use. It can however be achieved to a beautiful degree in PSE following Farrah's watercolor tutorial or Farrah's Artistic Sketch tutorial.

Tips:
To get a hidden mask hold the alt key and select the mask icon (rectangle with circle at the top of the layer pallet) on the layer you want the hidden mask. It will add a black mask to the layer which will hide it. To reveal items in the layer, with the black layer mask selected and using a paint brush paint in white to reveal the areas you want.

to desaturate your pencil sketch from color pencil to lead pencil use the shortcut key ctrl+shift+u (pressing all at the same time)

This is the screen shot with my layer pallet so you can see the black masks

Wow, the watercolour bear in the background is amazing! Love the slide photo as well. Wonderful page!

Christa, this is marvelous! That treatment on the bear is outstanding! I REALLY have to grab some of Seven Styles' actions. Love the smaller photo in the slide frame. Beautifully done!
