Gorgeous Michele!! Love the blanket you are making and what patience you have for that! I tried to crochet and knit when I was young. I crocheted squares to attempt to make pot holder but the yarn was wrong and melted a bit when it touched hot surface.. knitting, my grandma taught me the knit one purl two and I got as far as making a barbie doll blanket/bedspread! LOL I have a few knitted blankets from my Mom's dear friend along with a sweater she made for Mom and I cherish them as they are both gone. Your loved ones will cherish the blanket you are making for them. Beautifully scrapped. Thanks for sharing your double page with us!!

@cfile Thank you. Now I feel greedy because I'm making the afghan for myself. We have a couple others that my family likes, so now we won't have to share so much. LOL

I love afghan! I have tons I have from my grandmother. She kept giving them to me, and now I have plastic tubs full of them. I cherish them more than she realized when she gave them to me. My kids use them all the time, and it warms my heart! Lovely page to show off your work! Perfect pattern with the x!
