@dvhoward so very true! I did an internship with this mortuary when I was in high school and help them from time to time still (15 years later!). So when my grandma passed last summer I said, "can I drive the van to go get her!?" I snapped this photo as the guys were pushing her through the bowels of the hospital. It was an amazing thing and I was glad to be there. Everyone we passed stopped what they were doing looked at us and bowed their head in silence until we were out of sight. I had done first calls many times before but had never seen the respect everyone we passed gave so freely.
