For Tangie Baxter's Scaredy Cats Art Journaling class, on the symbol of a butterfly. I used a photo by Aaron Pomerantz (imgur.com/gallery/4FY1Z) for a macro image of butterfly scales. Most everything else is by Tangie, except for the background paper by Lynne Marie (I Love You). I did use (besides Tangie's goodies that she gave us in class) a couple of her painted bits from Love Counts & Love Blooms. Poem mine (font: Butter, Brot, Papier), which reads:
blue
don't breathe.
the still tremor dries out
wings and miniature scales
that have refused
a narrow band:
forty-five nanometers of blue
in your eyes hide
all the little treasures
waves, lines, swoops, tiny dots
each a world in itself
macro mysteries
stories embroidered
each stitch a new version
like memories threaded
through a family
what happened
depends on the light
