It really doesn’t seem that long ago, but twenty nine years is a long time. We met when we were so young. You were a pain in the butt back then too, telling me that you would let me know in two days whether or not you would go to prom with me. (You thought you were so funny.) We have been through a lot together. Some happy times and some sad times. It was not always easy especially in the beginning since my parents were not thrilled that I was dating, let alone a stupid, lazy American. I am honestly not sure why you stuck around with all the parental drama, but I am very happy you did. I love all our adventures together and the home that we have made for ourselves now. I always find it very cliché when people say they married their best friend, but that’s the way I feel about you. Looking forward to many more adventures with you!
