Journaling:
Today is the day. You are losing your lung but I get to keep my mom. This is the bed where they will wheel you in. The gown you will put on once you are washed down. The cap you will wear once we can get your hair up so that it’s not in your face during the procedure. There are no words that I have to tell you that it’s going to be ok because I’m not honestly sure it will be right now. I know it’s going to be a long day in that waiting room. On edge until the surgeon tells us that everything is done and you are fine. And that’s only the beginning. I know you have a long road ahead of you towards recovery and I am so very far away. I am hoping I can help you as much as I can while I am here with you and that you know that I am rooting for you when I have to leave. I love you with all of my heart mom. We will get through this together.

@Juliestcyr thank you! It was such a whirlwind that I took pictures of everything I could. My mom is a scrapbooker too and I knew she would want them someday.
How awful, I do hope she is recovering well. Your journaling is wonderful, capturing the moment. And I love the colourful diamonds with the patterned papers clipped to them. Wonderful page! Thanks for playing along with my challenge!
