After going through a whole house renovation, there are some things I will need to remember:
You are fortunate when you have a bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower.
Constant dust in your home is a health hazard and is depressing.
You are lucky to have a heated and air conditioned home.
A bathtub is a luxury! Use it.
Check that the grill has started and don’t open the lid if it isn’t!
Having clean kitchen countertops is one key to sanity.
Always have a “sane space” to get away from it all.
Get more than one estimate for every job and then prepare to double the dollars and the time.
A kitchen sink is an amazing time saver and convenience.
Sparkling dishes can make you smile.
Keep your house clean and warm enough to go barefoot.
Decorating for the holidays even in a small way brings people joy.
A clean table is worth the struggle.
Put your tools away every time or you won’t know where they are when you start your next job.
Take time off every week to rest and enjoy your family.
When someone gives you an invitation, drop everything and go.
