I just couldn't help myself after finding a cute Kiwi on the internet and getting rid of the white background and running the photo through the Akvis Sketch plug-in. I made it a sketched Kiwi.png to share with Jennifer (little kiwi) but it was screaming at me to make a page with it, so I did! Photos including png are all from the internet, and the text/journaling is from wikepedia. These little guys are so fascinating and I enjoyed reading all about them!

They are fascinating! Rarely seen though ;-) It makes us laugh over here when people overseas talk of the fruit as a 'kiwi' - as in 'I ate a kiwi with my breakfast" That is a "kiwifruit" (one word) - a marketing driven rename of what we used to call "Chinese gooseberries". Love the page!
@LynnG oh how fun! I was amazed to hear they lay an egg so big! I am glad you liked the page Lynn! The photos I found - the bottom one of the trio is so cute!! Too funny about people eating a kiwi at breakfast when it should be kiwifruit!!
@dawninskip thank you Dawn! I would love to see them in person.. had to grab the photos from the Internet!
