MOC6: Day 9 | Advice to Future Self
169 words of journaling (not including Eleanor Roosevelt quote):
Dear, sweet Suzy, please be kind to yourself. You are doing better than you think you are. Don’t compare your weaknesses to other people’s strengths. Be you! Try each day to do your best. And remember, today’s best may not be the same as yesterday’s best, & tomorrow’s best may be even better. Just take it one day at a time. If needed, one moment at a time, every day. Wherever you are today is just where you need to be. It is the perfect place. And the perfect time. And the perfect set of circumstances to help you & teach you & support you. You got this! Simplify. Choose love. Be patient with yourself and with others. Take time each day to take care of you. Invest in yourself so you have the energy & love to give as wife & mom & sister & friend. Stay close to God. And keep drawing closer to Christ. You are not alone. He knows, even when no one else understands.
