I'm a big fan of Sam Sanders' podcast It's Been a Minute; on Fridays he ends the episode with listeners who send in a recording of their voice sharing the best thing that happened to them all week, and I've really grown attached to this segment—it's lovely. So, I decided to borrow the idea for a layout.
Products used: patterned paper from From Where I Stand kit; circle element from Daydreamer kit. The fonts are Trend Rough Sans, Archer, and AL Modern Typewriter and the banner is from the app ArtText. I just erased/filled some of the patterns on the paper with random color pops.
I love it! Sara @scarletsierra does a Fri-Yay post on Facebook where she talks about the good things from the week. I love seeing the little things celebrated! I am curious about what murder songs are...
@bestcee How fun! Ha, murder songs are a small traditional American song category—sometimes country, sometimes Americana/folk...usually some no good character or cheating heart type dies in it (think Dixie Chicks and Earl). The Avett Brothers sing my favorite called I Killed Sally’s Lover. We got to attend the Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards the week I made this and had seen a really great performance by someone named Savanna Chestnut and it was a murder song : )
