1) "Porto Venere (is a town located on the Ligurian coast of Italy in the province of La Spezia. It comprises the three villages of Fezzano, Le Grazie and Porto Venere plus the three islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto. In 1997 Porto Venere and the villages of Cinque Terre were designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Only Palmaria Island, which lies directly opposite the village of Porto Venere beyond a narrow strait, is partially inhabited. There are three beaches on the island which can be reached by ferry. All beaches offer great views of the colorful town on the other side."
2) "Hey there! Today we went to Porto Venere, this beautiful town on the coast. We got lucky & snatched the last spot in the parking garage. We had a great seafood lunch and then got on the ferry to the beach on the island across the bay. It was awesome!"
