Monthly Muse March: Circles

I had to think about that quote for a bit, then googled it. Here is what John Green now says:

The Venn Diagram of boys who don’t like smart girls and boys you shouldn’t date is NOT a circle.

The thing is, if it were a circle, this would mean that the set of “boys you don’t want to date” is exactly the same as the set of “boys who don’t like smart girls.” But in fact I can imagine many situations in which you might not want to date a boy who DOES like smart girls. Some of these boys might include:
* Boys you just don’t want to date.
* Your brother.

So in fact, the circle of boys you don’t want to date is larger than, but entirely includes, the circle of boys who don’t like smart girls.

I think I'm still confused. But I your page so far. It'll be fun to see its progression thru the month.

@mcurtt I suppose he is right, but the shape of the diagram would still be round as the intersection is inside the bigger circle. Ah, when people start to dissect their own ideas they take all the fun out of them.

well, whatever the way he speaks about his quote now....we do know something for sure: the dating game is one difficult and confusing one for some of us LOLOLOL especially when we were teenagers, I think!!!!!!

whatever the size of each circle and the fact that I think circles can be fitted in just about ANYTHING in this life of ours...the pages you are making are so awesomely creative and beautiful and now I wish it was Friday again so I can see what we can come up with together!!!!!!!!!!

I also can't wait for the next inspiration pieces. I might have to make one of them fit somehow into the circle, but that's perfect in itself. It's all about trying out things and go where we haven't been before, right?!

Lol. Awesome!! Having a teenaged boy that is starting to look at girls, I am happy that he cares more about their ability to have a conversation than aspects of appearance. This is a fun quote to share with him.
