iT'S BEEN A HARD MONTH WHERE
HAPPINESS IS CONCERNED; i WANTED
TO DO WHAT THE M3 CHALLENGES
SUGGESTED AND PLAY WITH THE
CHILD INSIDE ME. YET MY CHILDHOOD
MEMORIES ARE DIFFICULT AND THEN
IT BECAME MORE DIFFICULT IN A WAY
I NEVER IMAGINED IT WOULD.
SO THIS HAS BEEN MY MORNING THOUGHT
THAT THE HAPPINESS IN THE DAY
IS ALL UP TO ME.

Oh, Carilyne, I'm so very sorry you're struggling right now. I think you've come to a great conclusion - the happiness in our days is up to us - and it's something I needed to be reminded of today.
The colors in your layout just shout "happiness" to me - those pinks and yellows and greens - and I love that big flower you included!
Here's some food for thought: my Mom had a really awful childhood, so at some point, she decided to have her childhood as an adult. She loves blowing bubbles in the park, flying kites off the back of a boat with a fishing rod, collecting koosh balls and tactile educational toys, hosting coloring parties for her friends, and generally approaching the world with a sense of wonder and joy. She inspires me, and I hope this inspires you a little bit, too. Hugs!
Thank you. That does inspire me. I've neglected my 2nd childhood lately although I have plans for the weekend. You inspired me to keep them. Thank you again for your kind words.
