Gary, our regular guide, was with us for these extra days in Budapest, his home. His comments were always thought provoking and gave us insights to the many years of Communism. A lot of our day was spent getting ready to deboard the next day for a hotel stay. Saying goodbye to the chef and kitchen staff was touching and we realized how much we had enjoyed them for these 2 weeks.

Those iconic views of the Parliament Building was almost worth a visit to Budapest. Brilliantly breathtaking especially at night. But the rest of our trip would be on land so our sailing days were at an end.
