For my big 7th birthday, mommy and Eric took us to the Onalaska Omi-center Pool! If you don’t know what that is, it is this big pool by our house that has awesome water slides and tons of great water sprouts and things to do like balls to play water basketball or valley ball and a sand pit. We got to go really early in the afternoon and spend the whole day there! It was totally awesome because it wasn’t too busy and we basically had the pool to ourselves most of the day! Since I am 7 now and been swimming for years (like I mean years).. I did not need my floaties on! I was also finally tall enough to be able to go down the big water slides all by myself!!! I know pretty exciting, isn’t it? Of course I had to drag Eric up and down the slides with me about 1000 times; since a girl can’t go down them all by herself. Eric had brought along a pair of snorkling goggles and a snorkel and allowed Bianca, Kai and I to take turns sharing them! (I got longest cause well it was my birthday and I am special. Since we were there like all day long, mommy and Eric bought us all slushies and a few munchies so our bellies would be happy. I had a blue one that made me look like I ate a smurf. It was so silly! I have to admit it was a pretty amazing day and probably one of the bestest birthdays I have had yet!

This does sound like a pretty amazing day! I spent my 10th birthday at a place like this & it was awesome! Love the mix of black & white with colour photos + all the close-ups of her face showing her fierceness & her joy! Absolutely beautiful, Kari!
