Journaling reads:

My own identity is so tightly knitted to “the last four” (digits of your sponsor’s social. natch.) I’ve nearly forgotten what my own social security number is. The last four is attached to every document, used to organize and categorize me in every way, in every circle and facet of military living. These numbers..those digits I can so easily and so readily recite...they have become symbols for how my own identity has changed as a military spouse dependent. I have let go of personal wants and wishes, moved near and far, nudged closely held ideologies, changed perceptions, accepted fresh ideas, and grown in uncomfortable ways in the name of The Last Four. These steps are not ones I would have dreamed of taking if dreams and plans were only up to me. And thank goodness they are not because God’s dreams and plans are far better than my own. And this melting, the fading in to someone else and in to The Last Four..turns out, it was the best thing that ever happened to me.

TFL!
Love your page and being a military retired spouse myself I completely connect with your journaling.. the best line is the last line of your journaling!! Love it.. love the clean style and of course all of the numbers.. wonderful page (and thanks for a fun challenge!)!!!

I love how you've included so many different styles of numbers on your page and then made the "last four" larger than the others. I also like the linear look to your page. It's rigid in the outline, so of like how military life needs to be rigid. (Not sure if "rigid" is the best word for what I'm trying to say, but it's the only tone I can come up with right now.)

Brilliant take to explain your challenge, I get it now, will put my thinking cap on, though I am pretty sure which number it's gonna be. Thanks for the fun challenge

Love the mix of numbers and all the journaling that goes with it! Had to laugh because my last 4 is one digit off the sponsors and so easily get them mixed up.....mine would be more of whose idea was this anyway?

T
nice page, I like the numbers
