Oh how I feel your pain. My amazing grandfather suffered from Alzheimers for six years. He passed away in December 2012. It's a horrid, horrid thing to have to watch your loved one slowly slip away from you. You almost wish it would take them quickly then to have to deal with them not knowing you. I'm so sorry you've also had to live thru this.
