Journaling is 164 words and reads:
"During the roadtrip, Dave and I listened to many podcasts, one of them being Lore. Lore is all about different spooky, supposedly true, stories that have happened. As we drove to Proxy Falls, we listened to an episode called “Into the Woods”. It was about the Pukwudgies, which are creatures that lore people into the woods and kill them by natural causes, such as falling off of cliffs. So not wanting to admit that I was freaked out after listening to this podcast, we hiked our way into the wood to the falls. Everything was normal, until on our way back up the trail, Dave and I suddenly heard a deafening crash. We turned around just in time to see a gigantic tree falling to the ground, no further than 100 feet away from us. I don’t think I’ve ever been more scared before. Dave and I walked back up the trail as fast as we could! I still get chills from it!"

Oh, wow! I would have been running back out! lol. Cool that you thought to stop and take a picture of it. Really like how you've placed the photo right in the center to bring so much interest to it.
Love your page design and color choices - it looks so warm and rich. And your journaling is great at telling this story - I would be so spooked at listening to those types of podcasts especially when I'm about to embark on a hike into the woods! lol. Sounds like a very interesting experience and how lucky you were to get out safely! Thanks for participating in the challenge!
