Journaling: Are “green” soaps better for the environment? Victor set out to answer this question by testing two brands of regular dish soap and two brands of “green” dish soap on night crawlers for his science project. He had to mix up different dilutions of soap to mix with the worms and then let them sit for five days. At the end of the 5 days he opened the containers to see how many worms were still alive. After repeating this cycle three times we were able to conclude that the lowest dilution of 3% it did not matter which brand you used. As the concentration of soap went up the regular soaps had more dead worms then the “green” soaps. But even with those there was a difference in the numbers of living worms.
