JOURNALING: Every time I see that painting, I'm reminded of the night back in the 30's when my friend Jack got me involved in a prank at the local English Pointer dog club. You see, they were having their annual show and there were a lot of dogs kenneled at the club. Jack comes over to my house, knocks on my bedroom window, and says, "Ya wanna have some fun?" (Yeah, he was drunk). Well, he was several years older than me and I thought he was just about the neatest thing going, so, of course, I said, "Sure!" Next thing I know, we're in the dog club parking lot. Jack gets out of his old Ford pickup carrying several cans of paint. He proceeds to flick a bunch of colors on these beautiful white dogs sleeping in the yard. They didn't seem to mind. Some of them didn't even wake up. Next morning, there was a gang of dog owners banging on the sheriff's door, demanding someone PAY for the vandalism to their prize pups. No one ever did find out the guilty party and the paint eventually all wore off...I think...I hope!

nice one!!! question...is this for the Sparrows challenge where you create a story? or is this something that really happened to you? didnt think you were born in the 30s bit then again we never really chatted ... I di remember you from the GP times great to have you around here!!!!!
Your Tall Tale is so imaginative! I'm so glad you repeated the journaling so we all could read it. I love how you colored the Dalmatians to look like the painting. Super job with this photo.
Love your spotted dalmatians. What a different world we'd live in if everything were that colorful. I am personally hoping that the paint didn't wear off.
