Extra! Extra! Disney announces casting for new movie. With news that Walt Disney was casting a movie featuring Dalmatians, owners were lined up around the block at the Hyperion Avenue studio for the tryouts today. A source close to the production reveals they may need as many as 101 of the spotted canines.
Blockbuster interview with Mother of Star. Irene Dearly, pictured on left above, revealed her dog "Spot" is a shoe-in for the lead. According to Dearly, her dog is the top-grossing dog model in the country.

Disney Brings Dog Tale to Silver Screen: Producer Walt Disney has announced that his next movie will be a live-action dog-napping caper featuring Dalmatians. The as-yet-untitled flick will be shot in the spring. "We're going to need a lot of dogs," exclaimed Disney as he watched from his office window the line of hopeful dog stars forming around the block.

Wonderful little stories about the inspiration photo. Great use of effects to recolor the photo to give it a more "old newspaper" coloring. Love the mouse ears in the newspaper banner. The doggie embellishment with the newspaper is SO CUTE!

Love the overlay feel to make it feel like an actual newspaper and I love how you took that photo and ran with it re the 101 dalmation and the disney theme... perfection at it's finest!
