It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judson Hutchinson IV former lead tenor in the Hutchinson Family Singers. The group, founded by Mr. Hutchinson’s 4 times great grandfather, is noted for their four-part harmony and their mid 19th century costumes honoring their roots. The group’s spokesperson, Judson Hutchinson V, said his father passed away quietly in the insane asylum where he has lived since 1980. Mr. Hutchinson IV’s descent into madness was attributed to his inability to figure out “Who Shot J.R.?” By the time the shooter was revealed, Mr. Hutchinson’s mind was gone.
