This is for The Lilypads Instagram challenge where the prompt this week is Collection. I didn\'t have to think long about that one.
I decided to keep the layout much like my Project Life album so I can add these layouts as extra pages to the album.
Text says (Roughly):
Flemming thinks it is a waste of space. A book needs to be read once and than move on. There's no need to save them because who wants to read a book more than once?
Well, I do.
Luckily he's settled with the fact that when it comes to books I\'m sort of an hoarder. I have serious trouble letting them go since every one of them represents hours of entertainment. Laughter and tears. Horror and sighs.
So we have books everywhere. The kitchen, dining room, bedroom - even in the bathroom. Some have been read once. Many more than once and few at least once a year. Like David Nicholls\' One day which I own in both Danish and English. It is that good.
i've moved to a nook, so i get what flemingis saying. your bookcase here is lovely. i love your journaling and how you've used the pieces in peppermint's kit.
love LOVE LOve it all!!!!! the bookcase is awesome, knowing that you are Danish is awesome- the page is greatly done, and the journaling is absolute delight: I do too think some books deserve reading again & again * again....if you like Britsih culture, there is a book by Angela Young callded Speaking of Love....is a very emotional book but part of English culture and a great read...one of those I read 3 or 4 times.... The having books all over the place is us here- despite the fact that Sarita (to my huge dispair) doesn't like reading....I was against e readers at first, but we traveled to Turkey in 2011 and only had 15 k luggage allowance for 2 weeks..I can read 10 books in that time on holiday...so I went ahead and got a Kindle...what a blessing - not too much dust to take out of the books too LOL gorgeous page Jeanet....am loving discovering you...as I said, I think I felt a bit intimidated seeing your huge talent in the CT forum.... I'm so glad I came to learn more about you
