My sweet Doodle, you take after your mommy. You are like a fish that craves water. Ever since the first time we placed you in the bath moments old you loved the water. You can not get enough of it. Honestly, you would spend hours nightly in the bathtub if I allowed it. My sweet, you don’t even mind if the water gets cold as long as
you can splash and play. Water is your natural element. Asia, you were the youngest of my three to learn to swim on your own at around 18 months;
although you were doggy paddling long before that! The day the pool opened this year was probably one of your favorites of the whole year.
(besides your birthday that is). It is a day you wait for all year long. I swear you were a broken record sometimes asking “today mommy? The pool opens today right?”..
even if it was December! You just couldn’t wait another moment! When the moment finally came I swear up and down you would have ran in there fully clothed if
I hadn’t been watching! The smile on your face couldn’t have been bigger and you ran as fast as those tiny stubby two legs could carry you!
