it's funny how a simple photo like this one can take me right back to the week Grandma passed away. This was taken just a few days after. I was feeling so overwhelmed and needed a minute to just be alone and gather my thoughts. I stood out in the driveway and the wind picked up, and there seemed to be a million leaves blowing through the air. I felt such a loss
just knowing she was gone and knowing I would never sit and talk with her again. The finality of it broke my heart. And to this day this photo expresses that exact moment in time for
me.
